Parking Policies (last updated 12/13/2024)
Hello residents:
Parking on the premises will be
permit-only effective immediately, in response to repeated complaints about limited parking space and nuisances in the parking areas.
To request a
free parking permit,
- Go to AppFolio's
"Account Profile" section (click here).
- Fill in your
vehicle information
completely (make, color, license plate #, etc.).
- Send an email to
kvillage.pm@gmail.com
with your address, room #, license plate #, and color/make/model of your car.
Subject
line
should include
"Parking permit request". Tenant must not be delinquent — i.e., the amount owed (rent balance) must be $0.
Parking Rules:
- Resident parking only. Permit required. Permit must be displayed on the front windshield, driver's side at all times. Permit must be validly issued and filed by K Village staff. K Village staff and vendors excepted.
- For a permit to be valid, a current tenant must have emailed kvillage.pm@gmail.com a picture of the DMV car registration for that car and for that license plate. Permits are not transferable. Each permit is valid only at the tenant's address and for the car (license plate) whose registration information has been emailed to kvillage.pm@gmail.com.
- One permit allowed per room rented.
- Guests (i.e., anyone not listed on a written lease) may not park on the property. Any vehicle without a valid permit on file is subject to tow.
- If you change cars, you must turn in your old permit in order to receive a new permit. Replacing a lost permit will incur a fee of up to $100.
- Vehicles may not be improperly parked (e.g., blocking other cars, blocking pedestrian access, or in marked NO PARKING areas).
- Inoperable vehicles may not be parked.
- Vehicles without valid, registered license plates (one front, one back) may not be parked.
- Vehicles may not be repaired within, upon, or near the premises.
- VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED AT VEHICLE OWNER'S EXPENSE AND RISK.
To recover your vehicle, call All City Tow at 800-498-0202.
Please post the permit inside of your front windshield, driver side. (It's static cling, not a sticker.)
